The Residence
Fairres is an eco residence that uses only non-toxic and sustainable materials. We encourage the residence artist to recycle all trash and use the residence bikes for moving around in Porvoo. The residence is located 1,5km from Porvoo centre and 500m from the beautiful archipelago in Uddas. The 45m² residence can be booked for 1-4 persons for a minimum of one week. We welcome family members with children.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven range, coffee pot, toaster, water kettle, freezer & fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. We use only natural detergents.
Living Room
The living room sofa turns into a spacious 140cm twin bed. You can log into your netflix/ HBO account on the TV or play board games. The walls are painted with nontoxic, air-purifying clay paint.
Bedroom
The bed linen is made of organic materials and the walls are painted with nontoxic air-purifying paint. The bed is a comfortable 160cm twin bed. Organic towels are provided for the guests.
Mini Office
The bedroom includes a workspace with desk and chair. There is also a spacious separate built-in wardrobe.
Sauna
The bathroom is large and traditional. The residence guest can freely use the electric sauna during their stay. If you haven't used a sauna before, please ask for help. In summer you can ask Pi to get you a "vihta" (freshly cut birch branches) for a traditional Finnish sauna experience.
Work Space
The separate 15m² work room allows you to focus on your art whenever you want. This space is ideal for practicing music and writing. Please contact Pi if you have specific wishes regarding your work during your stay.
